The FWG assesses internal SpectrumX capabilities, identifies external capabilities, cultivates relationships, and provides services to the Spectrum Innovation Initiative (SII) community.
The Facilities and Services Working Group (FWG) identifies, catalogs, and enhances awareness of the radio spectrum-related facilities and services available at member institutions. Collectively, NSF SpectrumX’s members possess a wide range of resources and capabilities that can support cutting-edge research. However, all center members must have knowledge of and access to these assets to leverage them and maximize their impact.
The FWG cultivates relationships with labs and centers in the NSF SpectrumX network to expand researchers’ access to these critical resources. The FWG also reduces redundant resource expenditures and accelerates research advancement by supporting center-wide awareness of available facilities and capabilities. By streamlining access to this essential infrastructure, the FWG supports innovation and collaboration across all center research efforts.
